day 1: Arrival – Ha Noi

Hanoi arrival. Our guide will pick you up and transfer to your registered hotel for check-in. Enjoy water puppet show in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

day 2: Ha Noi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau

Hotel breakfast. Morning, taka a visit to Hoa Binh, explore its hill tribes and ethnic groups: the Muong, Thai, Tay and Dzao. On the way back, enjoy a boat cruise on the lake of Da river Dam, where there is meeting of water, clouds and mountains. Drive to Mai Chau, a place surrounded by a green valley and houses on stilt of Thai people. Evening: enjoy a cultural show at the Thai village of Ban Lac (optional: surcharge). Overnight in Mai Chau.

day 3: Mai Chau – Son La

Hotel breakfast. Morning transfer to Son La through Moc Chau Plateau en route. Take a visit to Son La museum, the relic of Son La prison in French war period in the afternoon. Overnight in Son La.

day 4: Son La – Dien Bien

Hotel breakfast. Morning, transfer to Dien Bien Phu via Phadin Pass en route. Stop over on the way at Thuan Chau market where Black Thai women gather to exchange all kinds of farm products and hand-made woven brocades. Afternoon, take a visit to Dien Bien Phu museum, Eiline Hill, Nam Rom bridge, Muong Thanh airfield, De Castries’s bunker and the Victory Memorial. Evening, short walking through Him Lam village and attend folk-show performed by Thai girls at their traditional house on stilts (optional). Overnight in Dien Bien.

Meal: Breakfast

day 5: Dien Bien – Sapa

Hotel breakfast. Transfer to Sapa through Hoang Lien Son Pass, which is known as the highest pass in Vietnam, en route. Nestling on Fansipan Mount, Sapa offers spectacular scenery and the home of different hill-tribes. Free and leisure time wandering around the town for the rest of the day. Overnight in Sapa.

Meal: Breakfast

day 6: Sapa – Lao Cai – Train

Hotel breakfast. Morning: Short trekking to visit villages on hill tribes of Lao Cai and Ta Van, inhabiting places of Black H’Mong and Dzay ethnic groups. You will really appreciate the wonderful scenery at Muong Hoa Valley floor surrounding you. Afternoon, take a visit to Ta Phin and Sapa market, home of Red Dzao people. Transfer to Lao Cai railway station for Hanoi departure. Overnight on train.

day 7: Ha Noi

Hanoi arrival in the early morning. Be picked up and transfer for a city tour to visit lake of restored sword, Ngoc Son temple, Temple of Literature and Museum of Ethnology. (Closure on Sunday) and Bat Trang pottery village. Overnight in Hanoi.

day 8: Ha Noi – Departure

Hotel breakfast. Quick shopping ahead of check out. Transfer to airport for departure. Service ending.
