After having breakfast at the hotel, start the journey by a walk to discover some monuments with the Cambodian architecture from the late 1950s to 1960s which was the culturally and politically vibrant period in Cambodia. After lunch, visit the noticeable National Museum and Royal Palace through which we will know more about the Kingdom’s illustrious history. In the evening, enjoy dinner with tasty dishes at a charity-run restaurant and then watch a traditional dance performance.

Depart for Battambang after breakfast. On arrival, check in hotel and have a short rest at the hotel. In the afternoon, spend time to visit a cultural village, interact with local craftsmen and see the way to make local products. Take a ride on a bamboo train before having dinner at the Smoking Pot Restaurant.

Depending on the time of the year we travel, from July to December when the river level is high enough for boating, we will take a boat trip to Siem Riep and from January to June which is the time of dry season, we will transfer on road from Battambang to Siep Riep. The boat trip will cruise both on the Stung Sangker River and Tonle Sap Lake. On arrival, take time for relaxing before visiting the Angkor National Museum in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy dinner with Asian-inspired French dishes in a beautiful garden setting at Abacus Restaurant.

It is time for us to know more about the Khmer cuisine through a half day cooking tour in Siem Riep. With the chef of the class, we will have time to visit the local market and buy some ingredients for the cooking lesson before coming back to the school for preparation of dishes. In the afternoon, spend time to visit some of the magical temples in the region such as Ta Phrom, Bayon or Banteay and Srah Srang.

In the morning, we will transfer to the countryside around Western Baray. Visit the Angkor Silk Farm 15 km west of Siem Reap, where we can see the whole process of silk making. In the afternoon, continue visiting the legendary Angkor Wat where we can enjoy the beautiful sunset over the plains of Angkor.  Enjoy a Khmer Farewell dinner at the well-known Cuisine Wat Damnak Restaurant for our culinary experiences in Cambodia.

In the morning, free time at leisure before transferring to the airport for your flight home. End of services
