The purchase of any travel services offered by VietnamTravelCompanion.com constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com, and represents your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and fully understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking. Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com reserves it right to change these conditions at any time and therefore you are advised to check the Web site or request the latest version of the Terms & Conditions prior to making your booking.

1. Liability Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com acts in the capacity of the travel agent for its customers in making arrangements for transportation, hotels and other services that are incidental to the package that is being purchased. As an agent for the travelers, Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com does not assume any liability for any injury, damage, death, accident or delay due to any act by any carrier, hotel, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour. Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com accepts no responsibility for any damage or delay due to machinery breakdown, quarantine, weather or any other causes beyond its control. Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com accepts no responsibility for any omissions, delays, additional expenses or other events resulting from improper health certificates or necessary documents to enter or depart a country or acts of any government authority. Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com offers a tailor made travel service, therefore you can request alterations to any aspect of your holiday without surcharges. We will advise you of the cost or saving resulting from proposed alterations and if it is acceptable to you, incorporate it into the total price.

2. Acceptance of booking Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com reserves its right to adjust the itinerary, to substitute hotels or to cancel a tour prior to departure without prior notice for refund or will not take responsibility for any loss due to group dynamics, weather governmental or police action, traffic problems or any other conditions. Should Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com cancel a tour as a result of any of these reasons a refund will be made to the customer for all services that are not delivered. Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com reserves the right to decline your booking without explanation if we have cause to believe that you might pose a threat to public safety or security in Vietnam. Before you travel to Vietnam you are required by law to obtain suitable travel insurance and any other necessary insurance, therefore Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com assumes you have done so before your arrival in Vietnam.

3. Deposit & Payments Normally, a minimum deposit of 30% of the full amount (plus any bank commission fee, if paying by credit card) is required to confirm your reservation. We also grant an exceptional case where only the voucher confirmation is need in priority of your arrival in Vietnam. The payment will be made when you are in Vietnam. Travel documents will be compiled after the deposit has been received and are then sent via email. These should be printed out by the participant and retained as a receipt. The deposit should be made by credit card or bank transfer : Full and final payment of the tour price must be made before 15 days departure of the tour. In the event of the full payment not reaching our account by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel all bookings and therefore the contract between us.

4. Cancellation. Cancellation by guests All cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email. If you cancel a trip 30 days or more prior to departure, we will retain the deposit. Cancellations from 30 to 15 days prior to departure, 50% of the full amount plus any bank fees that result from us here and any charge occurs to us from our service providers. If you cancel with less than 15 days until departure no refund will be given. There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations. Cancellation by Vietnam Travel Companion In the unlikely event that such circumstances should arise, we will contact you immediately and offer you the choice of an alternative package of equivalent quality, or a full refund of all monies paid. No additional compensation will be paid over and above the total sum received from the customer. Vietnam Travel Companiontravel.com reserves the right to cancel the contract between it and the customer for any reason.

5. Children Policy Children under 4 years will be free of charge (excluding flight tickets, train tickets and breakfasts in the required hotels) Children from 4 to 9 years old sharing a room will be charged 70% of the adult tour price. Children 9 years and above will be charged as full adult

6. Health requirements Before travelling you should ensure that you are fully up to date with all vaccinations required for Vietnam. If your itinerary means you may be involved in strenuous activities such as cycling or trekking you should check with your medical practitioner if you are in any doubts about your fitness to do so. If you have any allergies, any disabilities or health problems relevant to your holiday you should inform us well in advance.

7. Travel Insurance Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance at the time of booking.

8. Passport & Visas All visitors to Vietnam require a Visa excluding citizens from Scandinavian countries Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and ASEAN countries Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos. To enter Vietnam a passport is required with over 6months validity beyond your departure date from the country.
